On February 20 and 23, second grade will be going on a field trip to Tree People. Tree People’s programs are designed to educate the children with interaction, thinking/questioning, and experimentation. They will go on an eco-tour where they will learn about trees, water, mulch, natural resources, native plants and more through hands-on exploration.

 

We will be taking a bus and leaving the front of the school by 9:00 a.m. the latest and should arrive back to school around 1:15 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. the latest.  The children will be eating their snack and lunch at Tree People. Therefore, please pack a snack and lunch for your child that day.

 

Since Tree People limits the adults to 1 adult per 10 children, we can only take 1 approved volunteer per class.

 

We are asking for a donation of $10.00 per student to cover the cost of Tree People. Please scan the Membership Toolkit QR Code below for directions of how to give a donation for the trip.
